NEC designs AXES, the Intuitive Information Navigator

Japanese tech giant NEC brings us a futuristic design in the AXES. This device aims to eliminate the keyboard and mouse we know today and replace them with a totally new way to operate and navigate computers.
AXES would gather information from the device it is controlling, making it easy and intuitive to control. NEC seems to think that this device would be better than a mouse (at least, that’s how we understood it from the Google translation of their page).
This gadget certainly looks cool, but we aren’t sure it would be any better at controlling a computer, or in fact anything else. Perhaps we are headed toward some big changes in the future. That, or NEC got it totally wrong.
